PIA After Work: Ausstellung "Womanhood"

Diese Ausstellung ist ein sicherer Ort und der Schlüssel zu offenen Gesprächen darüber, was es aus verschiedenen Perspektiven bedeutet, eine Frau zu sein. Die Ausstellung deckt verschiedene biologische und soziokulturelle Herausforderungen ab, mit denen wir im Laufe unseres Lebens konfrontiert sind.

Kuratorin Sabela G. Cuesta beschreibt Ihre Ausstellung:

"I have curated 9 Hamburg based artists working on different medium to share with us their own point of view (photography, pottery, painting, sculpture...) and take us to explore womanhood from different angles.

A woman’s nature is one of being nurturing, caring and receptive - the yin to the yang.

I have learnt to embrace this energy from women around me, women that have shared with me their strength, femininity, freedom of expression and deep connection to who they truly are.

This is an expo dedicated to all women.

You are my muses. I finally have understood the power of women standing together in womanhood”
